You might have heard elsewhere on the web this morning that the Final Fantasy XIII playable demo (which comes with the Advent Children Blu-ray in Japan) runs in native 1080p. This isn’t strictly true: the cutscenes are 1080p, but the actual game itself is upscaled 720p. Still, this is the game as it was back in December, so there’s still time for the gameplay to be running at a native 1080p when the full game finally launches.
